Local Support and Initiatives

The company supports several Thayer County projects, including donating funds for a K-9 dog dedicated to criminal and drug interdiction, contributing to local childcare providers, and donating to a new childcare center in Deshler. Reinke offers a variety of housing options to meet the needs of the employees.

Youth and Educational Development

Youth development is important to Reinke, and they are known for having conscientious employees who help make Reinke the global leader it is today. The education of youth has been supported for years in various fields, such as Manufacturing Engineering and CAD Technology, Irrigation Basics, Electricity, and Welding. Reinke is proud to support the dedicated employees sharing their talents and time with the school students. Welding classes are also taught to adults.

Electrogator Robotics Team

Reinke sponsors the Electrogator Robotics Team with members from Thayer County schools. The 2024/25 team secured wins during scrimmages, qualifying rounds, and placing at the Nebraska FIRST Tech Challenge Championship. The team gained experience from working with Reinke Manufacturing and competing against other top-tier teams. The experiences will undoubtedly enhance the students’ abilities to collaborate and innovate.

Scholarships for Students

Scholarships are awarded yearly to area students worth $500 and $1,000 each. Students in Thayer and Nuckolls counties have benefited from the scholarships to further their education. Studies have ranged from animal sciences to agronomy, precision machining technology, bioengineering, and medicine, to name a few.

Family-Focused Activities

Throughout the year, Reinke provides fun activities for their employees and families. They enjoy bowling, Salt Dogs baseball, golfing, picnics with assorted activities, and a Christmas movie with a visit from Santa Claus. Family is important to Reinke.
